Tips for layout of buildings

The primary stage of starting the construction of any building is the making of its layout. It’s one of the most sensitive stage of a building and should be done with a proper care.
Steps of making a layout :
There are two methods :

  • Digital
  • Manual

MANUAL CAN BE DONE BY FOLLOWING STEPS :

  • First of all check plot size, is it correct as per given in drawing.
  • Approval – Check either building is designed as per approved/sanctioned map as per guideline of local authority.
  • Now, assume any one wall as a baseline and do right angle overall footprint of building in same level.

As given in the figure ‘A’, Firstly locate any 8 point on guide pillar for checking right angle, but keep in mind all the eight points should be in  same level as given in the figure ‘B’

  • When done, all footprint/overall size is right angle and leveled then mark other center line of the wall and column in between these guide pillar and create all the remaining guide pillar.
  • Then mark all the column footing size from given center line point at right angle by line on ground.

Once these steps are done, you can start further excavation work.
